Dancers Delight Day Camp 2010

For those who love to dance, want to have a great summer dance experience and who want to improve their skills, this is a Dancers Delight!

Featuring the curriculum and methods which have established California DanceArts as a premier academy of dancing, our youth specialist instructors from our faculty provide students with new challenges while ensuring students understand the concepts and instructions in a nurturing environment.

Children of ALL ages can attend?
Yes! This unique program is perfect for the beginner and intermediate dancer of any age, as enjoyable for children as it is for older beginners. Even most teenagers enjoy the variety of dance styles offered within this program. By grouping students of similar ablity, creating teams and pairs of students, our classes offered within this program are exciting and enjoyable for a wide range of ages. Great for beginners or students who are at or moving into California DanceArts level 1 and 2.

Offering:
This program offers students daily classes of Ballet and creative methods for developing coordination, rhythm, dramatic skills, learning choreography, improvisation, performance ablities and more. Jazz dance, Hip-hop, Tap dancing, Folk dancing and many other styles of dance make this program an ideal introduction to dancing or means for improving vital and fundamental skills. Included in this camp is our popular Choreography Workshop, where students choreograph their own dances and perform in dances created by friends .

A Dancers Delight motto is "Work hard, play hard!" When a day of many classes and rehearsals is over, students are often rewarded with dance based arts & crafts, dance movies and active ballet games. Friday Field Trips include optional excursions for Ice skating, possible underwater ballet pool parties at local facilities and performances. Feild Trips Optional and requires minimum student participation.

On the final day, a memorable performance is deliverd by students who show off their own dances as well as choreography created by instructors.

As usual at California DanceArts, we wish to give each student personal attention and offer exclusive, limited enrollment of only 12 spaces available in each camp session.

No audition required.

July 26-August 6
& August 9- August 20 M-F

Saturday, August 6 and August 20

Rate :
$200 deposit by April 1 required and will be applied toward balance.
Full camp fees due May 15. Payment Plans accepted.

One 2- Week Session $500
(2 week total)

Two- 2-Week Sessions $820
(4 weeks total)

Option for hours:
Program hours 9am-1pm with optional extended hours until 3:00 pm. (Need minimum student enrollment to provide later hours). Additional hours include, active dance games, dance videos, additional choreography and show rehearsals.
Additional hours from 1:00-3:00 $99 per session. Students who need to stay until 5:00pm or later may enroll in additional classes after 3:00.
