Amie Hanrahan

Miss Amie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California and received her core ballet training and performance experience with the Los Angeles Classical Ballet and the Orange County Metropolitan Ballet Company. She performed several seasons as Clara in the Nutcracker held at the Long Beach Terrace Theater and the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. She is an award winning performer, having placed first and second in several nationally recognized competitions.

Amie is an experienced ballet teacher, having worked with young children since 1998 within the Los Alamitos school district. Miss Amie loves working with younger children and hopes to inspire them through her own passion for ballet. She is currently our specialist teacher for California DanceArts pre–ballet and beginning dance students, who she relates to with exceptional care and love.

Miss Amie lives with her husband and two year old son who keep her very busy and on her toes!
