Roxana Olesijuk
Roxana Olesijuk began ballet studies at age 10 in San Antonio, Texas with former Kirov Ballet solosit Vladimir Marek. From age 12-16 she studied primarily with former Ballet Russe soloist, Irina Kosmouska, in Los Angeles. Ms. Olesijuk spent summers on scholarship at Balanchine's School of American Ballet. At the age of 16, American Ballet Theater hired her as their youngest dancer to tour with ABT II (formally, Ballet Repertory Company). Ms. Olesijuk has since toured with the Pennsylvania Ballet and as principal ballerina with Eugene Ballet of Oregon, winning both audience and critical praise for her reliable technique and memorable portrayal of leading roles in story ballet's such as Cinderella and Coppelia. Currently, she devotes herself to our students at California DanceArts, where she passes down her life long passion and experince in ballet.
