Kamissa Marshall
Ms. Marshall has received her core training with Erin Holt and the faculty at California DanceArts since 1994 and where she has also studied with many notable teachers such as Yehuda Maor, Roberto Almaguer, Gina Ness, Molly Lynch and Israel Gabriel, to name only a few. Ms. Marshall has made steady rise through the ranks of the California Theatrical Ballet Company since its inception. Throughout the years, she has performed many principal roles for the company including her unforgettable performance as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet and she most recently performed Blind Journey in the Czeh Republic where she also attended the Ostrava Ballet Workshop. She has also attended studies and performed in programs with Los Angeles International Ballet Intensive, Atlanta Ballet, the Salzburg International Ballet in Austria and at Kaatzbaan where she studied with the famous Martine Van Hamel. Ms. Marshall currently teaches several levels of Primary and beginning ballet at California DanceArts. She is the Dance Director for the California Theatrical Junior Ballet, making many contributions to the companies choreography. Additionally, Ms. Marshall is a valued member of the California DanceArts office staff.
