Classical Ballet

We offer 10 progressive levels of classical ballet based on the Italian Cecchetti syllabus and Russian Vaganova method. Uncompromising attention is given to proper technique. The school prides itself on providing a unique training opportunity for structured study of vocabulary, musicality, body placement, creative expression and artistry developed from historic ballet techniques. With focus on fundamentals, students make steady advancements and enjoy learning.

Additionally, we endevor to supplement student training with both traditional and cutting edge techniques utilizing new physical conditioning methods and additional knowledge from our Dance Essentials program relating to stage presence, music or how to retain and pick up choreography faster. Attention to areas such as these reduces student frustration and creates a higher sense of accomplishment.

As students progress up through our ballet levels, more technical demands are required. Intermediate and Advanced levels include study in Pointe work, Allegro, Pas de duex, Classical Variations and Theatrical skills. Supplementary conditioning and MPT (Placement Technique) programs are incorporated. At highest levels attention is given to bring students from pre-professional to professional level. Graduation into each level is by passing exam. Students make graduated progress eventually developing results capatible with international standards. Classes are limited to ten students per class. Our pre-ballet levels are limited to only 6 students per class. Career Professionals may attend Int. and Adv ballet within this program.
