Academy Facilities

California DanceArts, located within the Los Angeles area of La Canada, California, is nestled among several schools and recreational facilities. The Calfiornia DanceArts facilities are located within the La Canada School Complex, this facility once served as the town's junior high school. The Academy now enjoys the space that was previously used by the school's gymnastics programs. Today, the facilities feature two Ballet studio's that are each aprox. 1600-square foot with sprung wood floor designed to prevent fatigue and covered by marley to prevent slipping. Our third studio was created for Hip-hop, Tap and Pilates classes. Each studio features 20-foot high ceilings geared for unobstructed jumping (this feature also allows us to provide our Aerial Ballet program!), wall mirrors and air conditioning. California DanceArts welcomes you to our comfortable lounge for relaxation while you wait for your class or you may choose to finish home work, business or shop on-line by using one of our many computers in our Student Center.

Since we encourage students to perform often and to illustrate the versatility of our training spaces, our largest studio is often turned into a theatre for intimate performances utilizing drop-down backdrops, state of the art stereo equipment, theater lights and more.
